There was very little improvement in this category in 2012. It is very important to monitor what is being said about you and your company. People share their opinions about experiences, products and companies. Consumers often rely on peer recommendations when making a purchasing decision. Therefore, it is very important to know who is talking about you and/or your company.
Tools such as Google Alerts and Hootsuite can be used to monitor your name or your brand on social media sites. Do you know if anyone has written a review of your company on a site like Yelp or Google? People may be sharing their opinions about your company and/or your services.
You need a process to monitor your name and reputation!
