This question appeared for the first time in our 2012 social media survey. I think that it is very
important to have a complete LinkedIn profile.
It makes it easier for people to find you and according to LinkedIn’s website, “Users with
complete profiles are forty times more likely to receive opportunities through
LinkedIn.”
We conduct numerous LinkedIn training classes each year and have had the opportunity to see many LinkedIn profiles. Some are not so good!
Completing your profile is an easy way to set yourself apart from the competition. Your profile can and should include a professional photo, a creative and meaningful headline, your job history, your education, a list of volunteer experiences, recommendations, skills and expertise, publications, contact information and a summary.

And please, pretty please, add a photo!
